She was initially wary of Hyun due to his infection, but overcame that fear. The two quickly bond and Jisu becomes something of an anchor and voice of reason for Hyun. For most of the apocalypse, Jisu was the only person who was able to help Hyun stay human. As the series progressed, she eventually showed signs of developing romantic feelings for Hyun.
